Good News!!

I passed my learner’s permit license of Victoria!!So happy..Know what’s that?it is equivalent to Malaysia’s undang-undang..no big deal la I know..but still good news..haha..Before the test i was so worried because I didn’t read the Victoria’s road rules at all..serious..i didn’t even touch the rules book once..But i think the test is pretty common sense..you will be able to pass the test if you understand english..

Now I am able to drive on a L plate!!!!good right?but under the condition of there must be a Victoria car license holder sitting beside me when i drive..

I can’t imagine myself driving in Australia now even though i don’t have any car…but for now van will do…haha

I am blogging without knowing what to blog

I found out that I lost my interest in blogging…I think it is because I am quite busy recently and i really do not have any interesting event to blog about lately..SO just for the sake of updating my half-dead blog..i am going to blog about something…..

*As you all know(maybe not), I am doing marketing this semester..now I am preparing a marketing plan which required me to choose a company and choose on of its product,then create a plan to market the specific product in the better way than the company itself..I chose tennis racquets industry and Wilson as the company..It is not my wish..I wish to choose Babolat..BUT…there is no Babolat company in Melbourne(the company is in Sdyney)..My lecturer recommended us to choose a company which it has a base in Melbourne..So ONLY WILSON for me..

*My Law lecturer makes law interesting…He is an Irish Australian..I think he is still strongly tied with Ireland because he repeated that he is an Irish for quite a few times..Before this I stereotyped law as a boring subject like sejarah..

*Guess what?I admitted that I am looking fatter now..To be precise..I should say that I think my face is getting bigger..cannot blame me what..lack of exercise coz no time..but luckily i didn’t gain any weight..so everything is still under control..haha..but i am pretty convinced that my arms is getting stronger because I lift lots of stocks in my shop..

K la..going to do my 1st draft of marketing plan now..chao..

College reopens again tomorrow!!

*roll..roll….roll….drums continue..*

I am going back to college tomorrow after three weeks of break…i am so excited!!!

So writing a summary of what have i been doing in the past three weeks is not a bad idea..it is gonna improve my skills of writing reflections..haha

In the 1st week..my main objective is to improve the neatness and cleanliness of my shop..i did pretty good i guess..before that my shop’s stocks are really messy because no one is in charge my shop’s stocks except for me and i had exams..I learned a bit about stocks control and ordering too..even though my shop has a pretty high-tech computer software that is able to do stock check. we didn’t use it because of our limited skills in handling the software..so our shop is using periodic method in stock control..those who don’t know accounting may think that ‘PERIODIC’ sounds cool but it is absolutely not..it is the physical way of doing stock controls..stocks count is required..about ordering new stocks..it is quite basic too..since i am the one who is arranging my shop’s stocks, i know which items are running low in quantity..so in overall..my most valuable knowledge that i gained in the 1st week is about how periodic method of stock controls work in real life and about interpersonal roles in management about how to deal with people around our business..

In the 2nd week..my parent’s friend’s nephew n his wife came to Australia!!!they are not related to us but since my Auntie Shirley is so kind-hearted,she let them to stay in her house..so now the male 1 is working in our shop while the female 1 is working in the seafood restaurant where my sister used to work..My ‘pangkat’ has rose..lol..now I have 1 subordinate to work together with me..haha..not a bad experience having a working partner..it can be related to the theory in management..lol

In the 3rd week…I have done not much breakthrough in my shop since i have done it in the 1st week..my main objective is to make sure that all the prices and labels are correct and accurate..but i think i failed to do so..there are still some inconsistency in my shop’s labels and prices..so i am gonna sort that problems slowly in the next few weeks..hopefully..

Last but not least..My resolution for my 2nd trimester to to get an average of 80% again in my exams..if i manage to do so..i will be entering the Monash Uni if i want to..so pray for me that i manage to do so..haha…

My results are out!

My results for first trimester is out!!!!!!!!!!Woo hoo!!!!

Overall i did so so for my exams this time..I got the results I expected…

My highest subject is accounting..I scored 90 for accounting..surprise right?!!not really..My favourite subject for this trimester is accounting..So I expected myself to get high marks for accounting..

My second highest subject is Microeconomics…It is my favourite subject other than accounting..I scored 88 for it..nice numbers..haha..Frankly, I should have scored higher for my microeconomics..But I screwed up my assignment for micros..I lost 3 or 4 marks more than most of my friends in the assignment..It wasn’t totally my fault..The assignment is a group assignment…The person in charge of typing and doing the powerpoint or excel did not know how to draw graph on powerpoint/excel…so like that la..screwed up all the graphs…haha..

My third highest subject is management…got 81 for it…it is not really that I am good in management to get HD..it is because I am lucky!!Most of the stuffs I studied are in the exams paper..and i did pretty well for my test in management..so gam gam abit pass 80 la..

My fourth highest subject is mathematics…only 74..Since secondary school I am not good in maths..so it is expected that i only got D for maths..I think i did better in my final exams because in my previous two test I
only got Credits..screwed up most of the graph in my tests so I practiced a lot of graphs before the final exams…

My fifth highest subject is Learning Studies…only 67..sad case..I have mentioned it before in my blog but i will mention one more time..it is a subject about learning how to learn..sounds interesting right?actually it is not….this subject has no exams at all but we have to hand in a reflection about what we have learnt in the past two weeks every fortnight and also a research projects…SO i think most of the students including me got pretty crappy results for learning studies..Most of the asian students are not used to learning studies because it is not exam-based subject..

My overall marks is gam gam 80…lucky that i still managed to score HD for my average even though i got crappy marks for learning studies and maths..but in conclusion..i am pretty satisfied with my results because of the limited time i have in studying as I am working too..

Holidays!!!

Woohoo!!! I am on 3 weeks holiday now..though 1 week has already gone..

I have nothing interesting to do in my holidays..can’t go clubbing…can’t go karaoke n whatever because I have to help in my parent’s shop..So I have set myself a target to achieve in the holidays..I am gonna to chane my shop into a better a neater shop..sounds lame lar..but it is essential because the stocks in my shop are really messy..so it has to be done to attract more customers..earn more a bit ma..haha..

I am gonna relate my target by using some managements theories..I am using the infamous goal-setting theory to motivate myself to achieve my target..this theories said that people will be motivated to achieve the goal if they are given challenging or specific goals..those said that management sucks especially JACOB have to link the theories in management in the real life to remember better..lol..just joking la..i dislike management too..it is too constraint because the theories in management is about how to control manage people better..it is not so me because I am the one who believe that freedom and trust among team members and friends are even more important..haha…

And I went to Nando’s Chicken with a few of my friends..the chicken served in Nando’s are so delicious..it can be compared to Kenny Rogers in Malaysia..Sorry no pictures for now because I forgot where did I put my pendrive…all the pictures are stored in the pendrive..haha..i will upload the pictures as soon as possible..till then..that’s all for this post..

Before the storm….

I was sitting in front of my laptop…viewing my old friends’ blogs..reading their blog made my recalled my secondary school life especially form 5 life..

My best buddies that time in my class was Andrew..Another buddy, Jun biao is in another class..I can said that three of us were the closest buddies that time..We play winning eleven(football game) together where i always bullied them..^_^…we played tennis together where we had some much fun and we hang out together so often..Haih..really miss those time..I have new friends here which is from different culture from me…People from China speaks different accent of mandarin and I can’t really joke with Hong Kong friends effectively because my cantonese is only good enough for communicating..There are no buddies like back home here..

I missed the time when I yum cha with Agong, Ang, Ian, Jacob biscuits they all..They are the second closest friends I had in secondary school. Their craziness when they are driving i shall remember…haha..

I missed my secondary school life..where me and andrew always ponteng..Haha..Pn Ling Duing Ling will always asked us for MC..We became famous for ponteng’ing’ in our class…lol

There are more to be missed..Sitiawan…One day i will go back to Sitiawan,in pride after i succeed in Australia..till then..the memory of Sitiawan will never I forget…

Well..a bit of emo’ing’ before my final exams for this trimester..haha..hopefully i will pass my exams with great results..

Oh ya..Didn’t i said before my cantonese has improved?it is because of my Hong Kong sifu..here they are

The guy in black is my Hong Kong sifu, Paul Lam who communicates with me in Cantonese…The guy in green is from Indonesia..He is a Chinese..He can’t speak any chinese languages..hehe

The two girls(in black is my Malaysian friend,SHeau Tien..In white shirt is my another Hong Kong sifu, Kaylie who talks with me in cantonese..) asked us to do stupid pose in front of camera!!Well..i can say that all three boys(me, Paul and Tony,my another Hong Kong sifu) have no experience in posing in front of camera!!see what funny pose we posed especially Tony..He was to shy to pose in front of camera..haha..well i know la i am not much better than him..well..like tat 1 la..i am not the kind that like to pose in front of camera..hehe

WEll…lastly..wish me good luck in my exams..i got a three weeks break after my exams!!!but i am not going back..tak de duit macam mana mahu balik?haha..really..hope to go back soon to Malaysia..

Just babbling about random stuff again

Hmm…where should I start 1st…

Oh ya!I should start by my maths result..I had two maths test…But i screwed them both..completely..i oni gt 64 for my 1st tests…the part that i lost most of my marks is bloody GRAPH SKETCHING!!
For my second test..hmm..sad case again..i only scored 66..the part i lost most of my marks is GRAPH SKETCHING AGAIN!!!it looks it it is my weakness to sketch graphs..so i am gonna practice more before my final exam so that i won’t screw it again..

I got to know more about my friends now..i only have a few malaysian friends now so i made a lot of friends from other countries..

1)Did u all know that there are a lot of indians in Kenya as well??One of my Kenyan Indian friends told me so..he even taught me how to say I love you in Kenyan language..it is MIMI NGAPENDA VEVE..mimi means I..ngapenda means love and veve means you..hehe..i am talented right?no la..just joking..

2)In most of Malaysians’ eye,Indonesian cant speak chinese even though they are Indonesian Chinese..But my Indonesian Chinese friend proved me wrong..now there are chinese school in Indonesia..Then..they not only know how to speak mandarin..they know how to speak hokkien,too!!!Surprise right?Even more surprise..they also practice some traditionally chinese belief like worship to ancestors and they even go to cemetery to worship during CHENG BENG(hokkien)..hmm..well..after all they are still Chinese..just like Malaysian Chinese..

3)People from China really hate Taiwan and Japan..The reason they hate Taiwan is because..hmm..maybe some people know the reason..hmm..it is because Taiwan does not accept that they are a part of China!!And the reason they hate Japan..Well..it is quite obvious..i don’t think i have to tell the reason..This show that most of China people are narrow-minded and self-centered right?They will accept anything that is backing them and reject and isolate those who are in their way..Here’s a real life example..that’s what my china friend told me…he met with a new chinese in his homestay house..when the new fella said that he is from taiwan..he said that in his mind he was thinking this will be the 1st and the last time he speaks with the fella..really terrible right?..hmm..hopefully my china friends will not view my blog man..if not they will start to isolate me..lol..

4)Well..the last thing is my final exams is just around the corner now!!it will be next two weeks!!Gambateh to myself!!my aim is all high distinctions!!!well..that might not be possible..but according to my management lecturer..it is better to aim high rather than low..if we aim low..we can only get low marks because that is the maximum of our aim..but if we aim high..it is possible for us get high marks because we aim for that..if not we can also get marks lower than high marks..which is still better than aiming low..hmm..that’s why i am aiming high!!!come on!!i can do it!!hehe..just joking la..didnt really expect to get all HD especially my management and maths..haha

I am losing my identify day by day

Oh my god!!!I realized that i am not so Malaysian anymore!I am more to China now…maybe it is because of the friends i mix with…I am talking mandarin with them in a different accent which i think it is quite funny..but it is not my fault anyway..they cant understand my malaysian mandarin accent..

Even i am losing my original english accent!!i talk in a different english accent because of my friends and my shop’s customers…

No!!!I do not wanna be like this!!!I want to retain my malaysian identity!!!So..I need more Malaysian friends!!Monash College!!please gives me more malaysian friends as my classmates for my next trimester!!

Happy Mother’s Day

Happy mother’s day to my mum and all the mum in the world!

Our family went to a western restaurant to celebrate Mother’s day..The price was wonderfully damn expensive!!!a plate of meal cost around 20 bucks..Well, maybe people like jun biao will say that it is sap sap for me since i am living in australia now..but in fact..it is not!!!i am still a malaysian and will convert aussie dollar to malaysian ringgit…hmm…I think i became more and more ‘kiam siap’ after i came to australia…haha..I think inherited the ‘kiamsiap’ness from my mum since my mum is also very ‘kiam siap’..oh ya..do you all notice?most teochew are ‘kiam siap gui’..well no offence ya..haha

forget about the price then..the most important thing is my mum enjoyed the food..the food is simply delicious…here’s some picture of me and my family in the ‘ang mo’ restaurant..
